Just Watching  is the result of a writing club project at Perranarworthal CP School. The students worked on an overall theme of people watching. Short stories and poetry were produced and there is much humour in the writing, as well as insight and emotion. Tales told by pets, birds and other beings wrote about how human beings appear to others and to each other. It is a collection of short stories and poetry by students in year 6, their final year at Perranarworthal. I have thoroughly enjoyed working with these youngsters and I know they will continue with their interest in creative work.  The students have decided that  money raised from sales is going to Cancer Research, for the first 6 months and then to Alzheimer's for the following 6 months.

 

PLEASE NOTE THAT THE BOOK IS ON SALE AT THE LOCAL SHOP FOR ONLY £10.00 AND THE WRITERS DECIDED THAT THE FUNDS RAISED SHOULD GO TO TO CANCER RESEARCH. IT HAS NOW RAISED OVER £1000. WE'LL SWITCH IT TO ALZHEIMERS RESEARCH NOW. LET'S SEE IF WE CAN MATCH IT. .
